nw: Problem with the roommate?
I am the one signed the lease to my 2 bedrooms apartment and rented out another room. My roommate was very messy and, we had an argument on June 11, and I kicked him out. At that time, he told me he is leaving by the end of the month. But now he is saying I have to give him 30 days notice. I know 30 days notice rule but since he is the one told me he is leaving by the end of the month, do I still have to give him 30 days notice?

If he’s not on the lease, and you didn’t sign an agreement with him, then no, you don’t have to give him notice. Call the police on him if he causes trouble. As long as you have your lease with you stating you are the only one on the lease, and therefor the only one who is living there, he has no rights to be there.
Jaxin is wrong. You can have a verbal lease for under a year stay. And if he told you he was leaving, thats a verbal end of contract, but since it was in the heat of the moment. Give him thrity days.
