Cheapest would be a dorm or camp, but you can also try finding a place to rent with other students…check these links:

Answer by Al MThe universities can get you lists of places that rent to students. I am not experienced on all the angles, but generally the lowest prices I have found are where some semi-retired family home has a bedroom that used to be the children who have grown up and moved away, the elderly couple not want to sell their home, but they need a small amount of income to keep it. You can be that income. The rent for this is usually considerably lower than the rate you pay for an apartment or even a dorm.
It usually comes with all the utilities. You do have to be careful to be considerate of the host couple … like when you return late at night … tip toe in so you do not wake them. Keep your room clean so you not annoy them.
Answer by ਸ਼ਰਾਰਤੀ ShareefI live about 2 blocks way from Brooks (I don’t go there, but I walk by every day)….I pay almost $ 1000 for a studio apartment in a house. There are no “dorms” or such in the immediate area….Brooks is right in the middle of downtown. Rent is expensive…I find it best to search on Craigslist.
