Ferdinand P: Can my mother in law a permanent US immigrant visit Canada without visa?
Her brother in law recently passed away. My mother in law arrived in the US in 2007 of July. She wants to attend the funeral. Do we need to apply for a visa for her?

if she holds a passport of another country then immigration rules pertaining to that country apply i believe.
a permanent resident of US can visit Canada without any visa.I am 100% sure.Answer by ma&mamour
if she is a permanent resident in the US? and has a green card? she does not need a visa to enter Canada, i have the web page of Canada, and if you look on the bottom of the page, and go up? check the 5th article going up.
