I have to write about this for my homework, and I have been all over the internet trying to find how people spent their free time during the industrial revolution. I have to write about sports and entertainment. So, so far I wrote about hanging out at pubs for entertainment and thats it. Look for “music halls”. For UK sports, cricket and horse racing were huge. For the US, traveling lectures of interesting people were huge. Mark Twain, minor scientists, medicine hawkers all drew crowds because they were something different and new.
