if you have a paypal account you are all set. when you place your item for sale, check the accept paypal as payment. it is easy
Most all paypal accounts can send and receive money upon creating a account. This depends on the country of which you are registering, if you are in the US then ignore this sentence. Basically paypal is a payment processor. There is no account numbers. The only thing that uniquely identifies a person is the email address that they registered on a paypal account. This would be your account number. Therefore if someone had your email address that you registered on your paypal account they could send you money. On ebay it is a little bit different. When you create a auction it gives you the option to enter in your paypal email address. Therefore when someone pays for the auction it goes straight into your paypal account. Now here is the catch. There are different kinds of paypal accounts. There is a personal account, premier account, and business account. A personal account can send and receive payments but cannot accept credit cards. Personal accounts were not made to conduct business with. They were made to send money here and there to a friend, family members, and to buy items. Premier and business accounts can accept credit card transactions. There is a fee included on 2.9% +$ .30 per transaction. You do not need to worry about changing your account, because on some transactions it will require you to upgrade to a premier account in order to accept the transaction.
