Roshi: Network help!!!!why i get this? “the wizard found dissconnected network hardware”?
i hav 2 computer, 2 LAN cards,connected its cable. then run the wizard to make a small home network and i get this, if i ignore, the connection is made but a CROSS on the icon of LAN , what the problem? am i going wrong?

The second card is the one that has the X if your not using this card then disable it in network connections and your computer will not even try to use it and you won’t get those errors.

The problem is the cable that you are using. For a computer to computer connection without a router or switch, you need a crossover cable. You should be able to buy one at most computer stores.
