My university and relationship status updates are not showing up in news feed on facebook. How to fix?

pp: My university and relationship status updates are not showing up in news feed on facebook. How to fix?
I’ve added a new university to my schools and universities on facebook and also updated my relationship status from single to ‘in a relationship’….

But both are not showing up in my news feed. I’ve tried playing around with the privacy settings; no use.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I want my friends to know where I’m going to for university!

It’s all about the privacy settings and also the “which application do you allow to post on your wall” .
