Insulation in the walls and outdoor blinds.. White paint on the outside walls might help.
Assuming you have an attic, make sure it is ventilated. You can install attic fans to help move outside air in and the warm air out. Good luck.Answer by Tipu

Get some insulated curtains and keep the drapes closed during the day. That will help immensely. Also, try not to run too many appliances they put out alot of heat. keep air sirculating witha ceiling fan or room cooler. But definately get the insulatd curtains, they work wondersAnswer by suechan

Get some insulated curtains and keep the drapes closed during the day.Open a basement window , leave basement door open , Put a small fan in an upstairs window blowing out and draw cool air in from the basement when you get home .Answer by frankawitz
ceiling fans at a low speed will move the air open windons about 1″so that cool air will flow across the floors, then as the fans moves the hot air from the ceiling the cool air from the floor will mix and cool the room down, on south expossure sides of your house keep windons covered with blinds or drapes, as for attic space your insulation should be kept away from shoffits so air can flow up to the ridge or if your house has square vents, you can add a attic turbine exhaust fan this will keep attic temps down so that your living space will stay cooler.

Insulation is VERY important, high quality windows also important, shades/blinds help, fans along with cracked windows also good idea…….but planting trees for shade is by far the “green” way to go. You get fresh air, shade, and improved curb appeal from planting trees and such.
