LUVIN LIFE: My horse wont ride inless another horse is next to him. How do I make him ride by himself?
If I’m riding in the arena and theres not another horse he’ll stand at the gate and wont move. So wat is the fastest way to twach him to ride by himself? And I’ve tried everthing wips, talking, treats, kicking, he wont ride or he’ll rear up or i’ll get him a little bit away and he’ll take off and run me into the fence.

sounds like you dont know what your doing and need professional help…. maybe you should look for a trainer….
Have you tried lounging him in the arena first by himself, with saddle on? He is probably either scared, as he ‘s used to being with another horse, or he’s messing with you. Probably he’s just scared though.
If lounging doesn’t work , if there is some one who might help you, you might have some one else lounge him with you on him.
Also try leaving him in the arena by himself (or with you there) loose, and may be with a nice bit of alfalfa or grain , if you can, so he can see there is nothing scary there and that good things happen in the arena.
BTW, and you probably already know this, but if your horse is running away, try turning his head VERY sharply to one side. Most horses will stop if they can’t see where they are going.
You might need a harsher bit or bridle if he is not responding to your reining commands. Some horses can take the bit between their teeth and if your horse is doing this you have no control. If you just pull back with equal pressure on the reins he WILL rear, and you don’t want that. When he runs away like that make him turn and turn in a circle a bunch–or some thing else he doesn’t like to do. They usually get it after awhile that it’s a big no no to try and run off. Also some horses, the ones that really like people, might respond to verbal scolding–some won’t. It may sound silly but when he is trying to run off tell him what a bad boy he is and and that you are very disappointed, etc. Of course you will still need to be reining and giving other commands with your body. People tend to grip a horse tighter when the horse is trying to run off , but this will make him go faster. Try to lean back as much as you can and keep your legs off him. This will help slow him.
Be safe and wear your helmet –at least until he stops being such a naughty boy!
I’d stay away from whips, they just create more fear and make horses scared which is what makes horses dangerous. A relaxed horse is a safer horse. Exception is your lounge whip, which you don’t actually use to whip them, but just as a guide. And riding crops most horses think mean to go faster.
