Chris: How old do you have to be to stay in a motel/hotel?
I am 16 and me and my friend want to rent a motel for a night. I know you have to be atleast 18 or something like that. But what if my mom calls and reserves a room for me? How can i stay in a hotel/motel if im under 18?????

Someone older than 18 would have to go to the hotel and pay for it. any damage or problems occur gets charged to the person who checked out the room.
I dont think it matters, when I was 16 me and my friends rented rooms all the time. You need a credit card and a picture ID.
