if its international you’ll have entertainment
All depends on the airline.
What do you mean by entertainment? Do you mean individual screens and choice or large screens for everyone that fold down from the aircraft roof.
If your on about the first option they are available on many medium-long range flight with major airlines. If you mean the latter, they are available on the large majority flights with many carriers.

A meal service takes 1 hour of the flight – a movie takes 2 hours –

It depends on the airline and the aircraft used for your particular flight.
I’ve been on flights as short as an hour (Ottawa-Toronto on Air Canada) that had the full in-flight entertainment, even though there’s barely enough time to get through one TV show.
Answer by potatochipIt really depends on the airline and the type of aircraft they are using. If you know the airline and what type of aircraft you will be flying on, you can go to https://www.seatguru.com and see if there is a personal in-flight entertainment system on board.
I was on a 90 minute flight from Cincinnati to Boston and had an in-flight entertainment system allowing me to watch shows (if I paid for the headset) and play a trivia game. However I was also on 4.5 hour flight from Cincinnati to Los Angeles with no in-flight entertainment system. No movie was shown either.
