You can carry it on. Just put it wheels up in the overhead bin so it doesn’t roll around or fall out and knock someone in the head!

It is really difficult

but in same time it is depend of the mood of the officer on the chick point

i prefer to drop it in the storage of the air plane , you will worry only if you have connection flay , so ,the best think ,
before you give to them to tell them it is expensive and any damage or loose happen for it they should buy you for it .

note : take any document from them to can claim for it
