dhuskrn is right. Each airline has there own rules, but almost all airlines allow children and youth to ride unaccompanied, from age 7 and up. Usually 6 years and under must be accompanied by an approved adult responsible for them. By the way. The airlines do not usually have any flight attendants specifically designated to watch over children and youth flying alone. Even if the airline is aware they are travelling alone. The airlines just aren’t staffed for it. Also It is a good idea to get a passport for travelling youth and children. Even with domestic travel, it is a good back up I.D.Answer by blairstwl
