Simplify: 5^(2x-2)=5^(2x-1)-100
Which goes to: (5^2x)/25=(5^2x)/5-100
100=(5^2x)/5-(5^2x)/25
100=(5^2x)*(5-1)/25
25*100/4=(5^2x)
25*25=5^2*5^2=5^4=5^2x
Therefore 4=2x
So x=2.
Substituting to check:
5^(4-1)-100=5^3-100=125-100=25^1=25^(2-1)
