Girl in love: Marriage???
If people are happy together and they love each other. why is marriage so important? Lots of couples that are married are miserable so what’s the point?

Well, we wanted to get married to start a family together (we felt it was important for our children’s sake). On the other hand, I know more happily married couples than I do unhappily married couples…so we weren’t ‘dreading’ marriage.

I will be honest, I’m scared of marriage..when you are with someone, like u ahve a bf, he cheats you break up…but with marriage there’s the legal aspect…

Exactly me and my wife well she isnt really my wife because we dont have the piece of paper but we consider our selves married and we are so happy . You do whats best for ur realtionship . Marriage is only important if u make it that way.

Well, i guess marriage isn’t that important.. it all depends on what you want. If you don’t want to get married you don’t have to. There are a lot of reasons people get married. They love each other so very much that they want to spend their lives together, joined in a family. Its comforting knowing you will always have someone there for you. Also, I think a lot of people feel it is just the next step in their life. People also get married for alot of the wrong reasons and that might be why they are so miserable. Who knows! Just do what is best for you.

Marriage is a wonderful way of letting someone know that they’re the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. It’s also a legal commitment, not a bad idea if the two of you are planning on having children.

When and if the time comes for you, you’ll know.

Who says Marriage is so important. Society? Screw society. What matters is your opinion and your beliefs. If your happy with your partner as is than great stay that way and don’t get married. Or get married it doesn’t change anything. I’ve been with my wife for four years now and it couldnt get any better. If anything as time goes by We love each other more and more.. Remember, everybody is different and we all have our own beliefs. I have friends that have been together for over 15 years with kids and they don’t want to get married. For what! things are great for them and always have been. whatever works for you… Do that!!

Marriage is a serious business.Some couples like to live together, but never will like to be marry.Others enjoy to be, a married couple.Not all marriages are miserables.There are thousands of happy married couples; around planet earth.Good question.

Marriage is a commitment, if you want to be able to cut and run easily then don’t get married. If a person doesn’t want to marry you you should be questioning their commitment and integrity. Most people in long term relationships that don’t want to get married get together after an unplanned pregnancy or don’t really want to commit to someone for life because they can’t vision spending their life with that person. Marriage is best for raising children.
