okkayy im the samme age as youu soo i wear makeup thats natural looking because EVERYONE hates unatural makeup lol so i would recomend something called “tightlining” with a solid eyeliner (look it up on youtube) it willl do wonders! also to clear your pimples use neutrogena brand skin clearing make up powder its fromn target i think it also has salitic acid in it and it clears it up really fast as well you should check out their blush and bronzer duo! for your eyes a nice caramel or gold with brown on the crease will TOTALLY do! i findd mascara seems to work the same butt lancomes hypnose does great also use make up tutorials on youtube <3
Definitely get a liduid foundation! Personally I use Maybelline mineral power! It works really well at blending your skin tone and lightening the redness of the pimples. For the eyes I’d do a dark brown eye liner. I use a maybelline one as well it’s called unstoppable and I like it because it’s not liquid or a pencil it’s sort of like a crayon so it goes on very easily! I’d get it in espresso or cinnabar (those are 2 brown shades I’ve tried and liked and I also have dark blonde/brown hair with blue eyes so we should be about the same!) Use just a little mascara! Loreal makes a good one that has black one side and a glitter on the other (the glitter isn’t too much and the black isn’t too thick so they really work together to bring out your eyes!) Do a little peachy or pink blush on your cheeks (covergirl makes a lot of nice colors) and a clear gloss or even just chapstick on your lips and your done! It woud look really nice and natural. Definitely appropriate for your age! Just don’t do the eyeliner too thick! A little trick I use is if I put too much eyeliner on I stick a Qtip in eye makeup remover and use it to make the eyeliner line thinner! This works really well just don’t use too much eye makeup remover! Hope this helps!!Answer by I Love Shane Dawson!
Here’s my makeup rountine:
1. Wash face
2. put on concealer with fingers on pimples
3. put on foundation with sponge (I use revlon colorstay)
4. put concealer under eyes with fingers and more on pimples if needed
5. loose powder
6. pressed powder on t zone (if you have oily skin) (I use maybelline)
7. lightly fill in eyebrows with a color to match (optional…look up videos on youtube if you need to)
8. highlight brow bone with a white-ish eyeshadow
9: curl lashes then mascara (covergirl lashblast is good)
10. a little blush OR bronzer (look up online how to apply it)
11: chapstick!
12. lipgloss (optional)Answer by Emily
When I was starting eighth grade I would usually only wear concealer to cover up any spots. I don’t think you’d be too young for mascara; you should try Full n Soft by Maybelline. It’s a nice mascara that adds volume to your lashes but it isn’t too over-the-top so it’s perfect for someone young like you!Answer by Jessica Smith
Eyeliner is a must. Just don’t go overboard on it. You can even get colored eyeliner(that’s what I use) and use some foundation just make sure it matches your skin tone and again don’t over do it. Remember makeup is meant to make you look pretty and like a real person not a barbie doll. I use mascara now and then and sometimes just mascara. You got to mix it up a little somedays(like Mondays) don’t be afraid to not wear makeup at all. Good luck in 8th grade!!Answer by Claudia
Clear mascara works really well. It gives your eyelashes definition and length but it looks like you have none on. I would also try a blue or grey eyeliner on the bottom. Also a little lipgloss. Not that sparkly kind though. Put it on just so your lips shine. I don’t think foundation is neccessary. 🙂Answer by Kendall Scott
I have about the same skin/hair type and I start with Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Mineral Relief for the redness of zits (32.50) then Neutrogena SkinClearing Makeup for my face (11.99), and finally Clinique Almost Bronzer for $ 29 which gives my face some color, but doesnt turn me orange. I use a volumizing mascara, but I have multiple different kinds. I also recomment just a lip gloss, because lip stick tends to make you look too grown up. I use a black pencil mascara on my lower and upper waterline for a more dramatic look, but I dont always wear this because is can be very heavy. You dont have to splurge on an eyeline, a cheap one works just as well as an expensive one. Then, I love just using soft gold and pink eyeshadows on my lids. Here is a good link for a good look for that: https://www.youtube.com/user/juicystar07?v=aXofQeB66Gk&feature=pyv&ad=11923638942&kw=makeup . The look is gorgeous just stopping at 3:20. I also occastionaly wear a silver/grey color for more “fancy” days. Hope this helps!Answer by LeahD
OMG im like the SAME! going into 8th grade and have blonde brown hair with a little pimples and here is what I do:
1.) Determine your skin type. Know if it is sensitive, oily, combination, or dry skin. Then get the appropriate skin care treatment.
* If you have acne, you should look for specific products to clear your skin, like medicated facial washes and products containing benzyl peroxide, which is strong but it works, though many are allergic to it.
* Remember to only use products meant for your skin type.
* Start a routine and follow it every day, be consistent!.
3.)Decide on your best feature. Pick appropriate colors that suit you well (you could go to makeup counters and the staff could help you chose the right colors) and learn to apply makeup to accentuate that feature.
* Don’t go bold on lips, eyes, and cheeks. You’ll appear over-done.
4.) Try to limit colors to neutral or nude shades that blend well and give you a natural look.
5.) Go shopping for makeup. Look for what is appropriate for your skin and hair color. Don’t just buy the same brands and colors your friends are buying.
6.) Try shopping at a mall makeup counter where you can get professional advice for your skin type and coloring. The initial investment may be more, but you’ll be less likely to buy items that are inappropriate. Drug stores won’t allow you to sample and try different colors, and the employees aren’t experienced to help. Make sure you request they tell you how to do a natural routine, and before you buy the products, make sure it is appropriate and you like it.
7.) hade lighter than your skin), a concealer for blemishes, lip balm or gloss, eye liner, and mascara. Some teens prefer tinted moisturizer for a sheer, all-over color, and because it cleanses your skin at the same time. You don’t want to go overboard. Take off all makeup daily and re-do it every day. Never keep it on when you’re sleeping as it can block pores and cause blackheads.
8.) Find your style and keep notes to remember the application process.
9.) Write down the application process and refer back to it until you can remember it. Try new colors and looks, but be sure it looks natural. As you find good ones you should also write them down. You’ll eventually develop makeup looks for different outfits, events, and seasons.
10.) Try out tips from magazines and try to see if they can work for you. Try these out at home before you wear them out. Remember the magazines push products of their advertisers. It may look good on the model but the colors or formula may not look good on you.
11.) Try to coordinate your make up so that the colors complement each other. Don’t wear soft neutral tones everywhere, and try to avoid blood red lips, it doesn’t work.
12.)Learn how to apply blush correctly so it doesn’t appear overdone or highlights incorrectly. These are some common starting points to consider but every face is different.
* If you have pale or light skin, try light pink blush or neutral rose blush.
* If you have medium or olive skin, try coral blush.
* If you have dark skin, try bolder-colored blush.
* Since every face is different, you should make sure whatever colors you choose are appropriate for your skin type, skin color, hair color, and eye color.
13.) Apply a light powder to the face after applying moisturizer or foundation.
14.)When you are just starting to wear makeup, it’s best to start with blush, but not too much, and maybe a little mascara and eyeliner.
* Remember to take off mascara after one day, if you forget and don’t apply makeup the next day it will look horrible. Also, go easy on the eyeliner until you are more experienced with makeup, because it’s easy for eyeliner to look bad.
* One easy way (instead of wearing mascara) is to lightly wing your eyeliner and put it, slowly becoming thicker into the wing, on your top lid just above your eyelashes to make them look longer and fuller.
15.) Stick to natural colors (no blues, emeralds, pinks) eyeliner and mascara, and stick to very light colors for eye shadow.
17.)It is best not to wear lipstick. Just a tinted gloss or balm. You don’t want to look obvious!
