hiphopdancer111: What is a really good laptop for everyday computing?
I don’t want a mini one. I would like it to be fast, have a good battery life. I want it to be reliable. The price range should be $ 600 and under please. I would love it if it came with Windows 7 home premium and not the starter but thats not too major. I would also like a web cam but also not a big deal if it doesn’t have one.
Please give pros and cons of that laptop and comparisons would be nice.

Answer by MikeFor my everyday computing I use the Asus EEE Pc.
Pros:
Very small and lightweight
Specs are quite good and multitasking is a breeze
Battery can last up to 12 hours
Was a little over 300$
Cons:
Screen and keyboard are somewhat small
Not for gaming or photo editing
I’ve had great luck with my Toshibas, and I think Best Buy has the one I have now, with the dual-core processor and Windows 7, on sale for $ 350 this week. Toshibas are always highly rated and have great customer service.
