sumchik9: What are the laws about keeping pet squirrels or rehabilitating baby squirrels for release in Quebec?
I am rehabilitating four orphaned baby squirrels, which I plan to release. I am in Quebec and am planning to keep them over the winter since our winters can be harsh, and I don’t think they will have much of a chance. I would like to know what the laws around this are. Anyone know?

You probably would need to inquire with the Canadian government. I honestly do NOT know the legal laws for squirrels in Quebec. Possibly you can ask your province or animal rights in your area.
