Sam Jinse: Job Interview Question: “Did you prepare for this interview?”?
How would you answer this?

“Prepare for it? I didn’t think there was anything to prepare for.”
Absolutely. (example: I have been studying computer tech for 5 years. I had a part-time and summer job with XX company in their repair shop where I learned to troubleshoot, repair, keep records on inventory and clients, etc….. More recently I worked for YY company and I volunteered with ZZ nonprofit keeping their computers in good condition).
You see what I mean. Life experience and longtime hobbies are part of your preparation. Figure out a short statement or story about that and learn to tell it sincerely.
If you have done so, you might also mention that you looked up or learned This and That about the company you are interviewing with, and you would like to be part of their team. Or you would like to learn more about their plan for expanding. Etc.
Show your interest and enthusiasm for what you offer them and for what they do as a company.

Answer by A-AceI would always answer truthfully. If you did say so and tell them why. You wanted to be totally involved in this process and give your best impression because you are looking forward to this opportunity.
