sandybars: Is this tattoo idea too complex?
i want my whole left forearm tattooed with a universe basically 🙂
i want the planets that “rule” my mom’s, niece’s, sister’s and grandma’s astrology signs. plus some stars and swirlydos in there to fill it in. I would happily go to a whole left arm sleeve. But does this sound too complex for even a very skilled tattooer?
thanks 😀
i mean, i want the planets to look pretty darn good and realistic-ish. and lots and lots of color and fine lines…

Heck no! That sounds like a fun project. It seems fairly straight forward, and there could be a LOT of cool things you can do with that. Look up neat nebula formations and cool space images and add those into it too. That sounds like a beautiful idea. Also talk to artists in your area and see what they think. I think it would be a great project for any artist to get into.
Nope. Just have to sit with your artist and come up with a design. Next you have to be willing to sit through the work. The more complex the more outline, shading, coloring etc etc.Answer by scatterbrainedgenius
Oddly enough I just drew something similar to that and I am only just about to start learning how to tattoo. I haven’t even turned on a tattoo machine, what you can imagine a tattoo artist should be able to draw and realize in ink.
On paper or in photo shop it can be created and then if the artist is good enough and skilled enough it can be any size you wish as long as the artist is skilled.
Mine was a sunburst at the bottom with the ankh and omega symbols, my personal power symbols in front of a star field and an Aurora Borealis with water running from the roots of a tree above into the aurora. Above the tree is a castle and above a sky with clouds.
All can be easily tattooed onto the lower half of my arm with the symbol placed on my hand. Also some night sky and stars will exptend out onto my fingers and more stars and flowers poking around inside the design in the grass and night sky.
Good luck live your dreams.
Answer by Cash138Nope, it can totally be done. I’ve seen plenty of great astrological tattoos done, that completely do justice to the artwork. The biggest challenge is finding someone capable of pulling it off for you. Do plenty of research on who would be best for this, go check out some shops, look at some portfolios and find the right tattooer for you.
Also I would say when it comes to something like this, you can’t let money be a huge deciding factor on your artist either, as we all know, you get what you pay for, and with what you are looking for, it will look terrible if it’s not executed perfectly. So keep that in mind. With a sleeve it will be done in sessions, which long term are a lot more affordable as you will be put on an hourly rate instead of paying in one big chunk!
Answer by Anya Git’s not too complex.
