Like deposit cash out of my pocket onto a card that I can use online?

Yes go to your local Walmart and they have cards design for this

Yes there is. They are just pre paid cards, handy if you need to make a transaction, but dont have a debit card. I know Mastercard do one, as do many other companies. It’s becoming quite popular for shopping online, giving someone as a gift etc

Most banks offer totally free checking.
