Houses generally cost 2-3 times more a month than apartments.
depends on the terms of the lease. if you are paying all utilities then the house will likely be a little more, as trash and water are commonly covered in apartments.Answer by Simpson G
Usually in an apartment, at least a portion of the utilities will be covered. This is usually not the case in houses, other than the possibility of water being covered.
Houses tend to be pretty good deals, but there is more upkeep involved and upkeep costs money. While the landlord is responsible for major repairs, you are responsible for upkeep in the yard.
Answer by chatsplasYES, usually tenants pay more utilities (water/garbage, heat, electricity) and may have upkeep responsibilities (mowing, snow shoveling). Rents are usually higher due to added space and privacy.
