Conserve This: Is religion really just a way for people to get out of actually helping others?
When you have religion you can just say that you’re praying for people when something bad happens, so it seems like you’re actually doing something.
However for people who don’t have imaginary friends praying doesn’t work. We’d have to actually help for us to be thanked for doing something.
Is prayer really the only way to do nothing and still think you’re helping?

Um, no.
Religion is a way to understand how we got here, what our life means, and how to please the God that created us.
