Is it true that 2% milk has as much fat as MacDonalds french fries?

wadude2002: Is it true that 2% milk has as much fat as MacDonalds french fries?
Today I asked my mom to but 2% milk, she said no because it has just as much fat as MacDonalds fries. I asked her who conducted the study, where she saw it, etc and she didn’t know. My mom has a habit of lying when shes pissed I was wondering 1) is this true? 2) how much fat is in the milk/fries? 3) do “Top Men” determin that to be too much?

is this full fat milk?

Even so, fries are much fatter than milk cos its fried and potato is full carbohydrates.

Milk are rich in calicum, althou your not meant to drink too much of it, but u should have a glass of it a day at least….

Mayb ur mom tellin a fib to make u stop drinking too much milk and trying to scare u that it is fattening…..reason is, mayb u always finish the milk?? sorry jus a suggestion…….

Answer by Laura D
A cup of 2% milk has usually 5 grams of fat (depends slighty on the brand). An order of medium McDonald’s fries has about 35 grams of fat.

Answer by The Pretender
No, that is absolutely not true. And even though 2% has more fat than skim milk, it’s a different kind of fat than what you find in fast food french fries. Milk fat is a natural fat, so your body reacts differently to it than the horrible oils found in fast food. If you prefer 2% milk, there is no reason you shouldn’t drink it. Just read the nutrition facts on it. It’s not like it’s whole milk.

No it does not have that much fat about 5 grams for 1 cup
