~^._.^~: Is it illegal to sell candy at school?
I have to sell candy to fund-raise for one of my classes. My brother offered to help sell it at a different school (that aren’t fund-raising), but I’m not sure whether it’s legal or not or if schools allow that sort of thing.
You can get in trouble for selling candy at school? I live in California btw.

No way! theres loads of candy dealers at my school!, selling alsorts and macking a bit of cash!. its not illegal its just the teachers wont like you selling things as people might litter or spit it on the floor ( eww like they do at my school!) you can sell things just try not to get caught. Oh and aswell if you sell candy alot people will buy of you more so stock up!

It would depend on the state that you live in. Different states have different laws. Some times it would depend on the kind of candy you’re going to sell. Some candy might have patents on them. A patent is an intellectual property right granted by the Government of the United States of America to an inventor “to exclude others from making, using, offering for sale, or selling the invention throughout the United States or importing the invention into the United States” for a limited time in exchange for public disclosure of the invention when the patent is granted. That might make it illegal.
