Lucky: Is it advisable to take Linear Algebra and Discrete Mathematics on the same semester?
I’m thinking about taking them both on a summer semester.
I’m planning to take Discrete Mathematics as an online class, and Linear Algebra as a regular class.
Or is it too much?
thanks
I am currently taking Calculus 3.
I had all A’s on all my math classes so far.
And no, I’m not planning to take any other classes, except for those 2.
I want to also know if any one has ever done it.

Only if you have some background in at least one of them; if the material in both classes is completely new to you, then it is too much.
It may just be too much if you have other classes
but if you’re good at math (which i think you are, because of the courses you are planning to take) and those are the only two significant classes you’ll be taking then i think it’s fine.Answer by That’s what she said
I think if you are just doing 2 classes it is manageable…especially if you have a nack for math 😛 it will definitely be hard tho!
my recommendation however would be to take discrete first, as it teaches you HOW TO PROVE, a skill that is extremely invaluable for linear algebra 🙂 if i could do it over, i would do it that way >.<
