Nikki: Is hollister “too old” for my 11 year old daughter?
My daughter is 11 years old… She is one of the small people where they don’t have “breasts”. Do you think I should wait until she gets a bit older to shop there? Or just shop for what fits her?

wait cuz the clothes in der are kinda hoochie
i was the same age but still shopped there they make things for her there i also shopped at abercrombie and aeropostale those three stores are now my favorite stores!!!!!!!!!!Answer by Observationist!
don’t shop there. first of all, the clothes are too old for her, plus the fact that you are paying more than needed, and thats just because it has the name Hollister on it. Its really a stupid store.Answer by Kizzat
I would wait. I’m lucky that my teenage daughter doesn’t really care about the brand name. As long as she has clothes to wear she’s happy.
The clothes are ridiculously expensive, and a little bit too revealing for an 11 year-old. Hollister, CA is a tiny factory town. There’s nothing great about it at all. There are lots of stylish alternatives that are of equal or better quality for a better price. Just find something she likes, fits, and most of all is appropriate.
Answer by =)I would wait….you could try Aeropostale and American Eagle for now! Those fit me when I was little (and when I was around 11 I was also a liiiittle person….like really short and a stick) and they fit me fine.Answer by talesinthephoto
why waste that money ? put it towards collegeAnswer by melissa
if they fit her..and are appropriate to you than let her wear them..you shouldn’t limit her to one store just b/c the others have a couple indecent clothing.
Your the one buying her clothes, you can monitor what she is wearing so ya..if they fit and are decent ya hollister is fine.Answer by pumpkinsmommy
I wouldn’t shop their because that store is a ripe off with over rated inflated junky clothes that is no better then shopping at target.
Don’t raise your child to think its what is on the tag that makes her who she is.
There are a lot of other more inexpensive stores in the mall that will fit her just as good.
Skip that store, all it is, is an overpriced brand name.
Answer by iSkittleJugglingOcelotHollister sells some pretty small clothes. So I think they will fit your daughter.
Just because its hollister doesn’t mean that she is going to have showy clothes.
You CAN find clothes that will fit an 11 year old appropriately.
no, you do not have to wait. that is the perfect age to start letting you kid shop there. by the time they get to be 13 or 14, they dont really care about abercrombie and hollister anymore. a size small or x-small should fit her. they run small in the shirts.Answer by Ryan M
I would say no because Hollister is aimed at teenagers around the age 14-18. 11 is a bit young for someone eventhough they are really small to shop at. When she is atleast 12 go ahead, it’s expensive but their clothes are really nice and good quality.
