Brittna: Is Geometry required to get into a community college?
I am going into senior year of highschool and do not want to take Geometry. I was wondering if the class is required to get into a community college. I’ve already tried their website and cannot get my answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer by HSCIt’s not required to get in. However, if you plan to get an Associates degree at this college, then you’ll have to take at least ONE math class. The catch is, this class will have to be at the 100 level or higher. Geometry is below that level. If you don’t take it you’ll have to take that, plus Algebra 2 (if you haven’t taken it yet), just to be able to take the one math class required.
I’d definitely take it if I were you. I took it my freshmen year, it’s not that difficult, once you get some things memorized.
Answer by Mαι dιrε mαι ♥It depends on the requirements in your state,
Here in new york you need 3 credits of math to graduate, and the only required class is algebra.
But if you’re already on track to graduate a CC won’t care what classes you took.
