Sunil Kr: How are planes different from lines in 3D geometry?
I am in class XII facing 3D geometry for the first time.I am really confused about planes as their equations are similar to that of lines in 2D geometry.

Planes, unlike lines, are two-dimensional. Lines are one-dimensional. Although the equation of a plane, Ax + By + Cz + D = 0 is similar to that of a line in 2D geometry, keep in mind that is a normal vector to the plane in 3D.
