Yes studies have proved that fast food is just as addicting as drugs and alcohol.
As with all things, it is fine as long as it’s done in moderation. Not all people over indulge and should not be punished. Taxing is not a solution.Answer by charlie in mex
Yea might as well but all the protesters of smoking seem to be fat for some reason. They should try smoking it curves appetite. I say throw down a fat tax too if your legally obese you pay more since you will cost more in the future.Answer by Emily
Taxing “fast foods” and “junk foods” while eliminating sales tax on fresh produce and locally-acquired whole foods would not only help our economy, but would aid the health of an obese nation (when the worst-for-you foods are cheapest, people don’t eat well… particularly the lower classes, which then makes health care costs to the whole rise. Encourage and facilitate healthful eating, and many health problems become less of a burden.)Answer by mossmayhem
Absolutely.
Not only is it as addicting, but if you look at what preservatives and additives as well as fat and calories you would be better off drinking a beer or a pint of liquor instead of having a fast food burger.

Eliminating government waste and fraud would go a long way.Answer by meg
Since healthy people live longer and collect more in social security benefits, the fair thing to do is to tax healthy food to bolster the SS program. The reasons it needs bolstering is the increased life expectancy and that the government spend the trust fund so they could cut income taxes.
