Howdy: Is a bachelor’s in international business administration good for a career in investment banker?
I’ve found a university in europe that only has courses in english that sound like this: international business administration, business administration and service, international business and politics. Is one of them good if I want to become an investment banker. After I finish it can I take my MBA?

why don’t you consider an MBA-track bachelor’s (like BBA) with a focus in finance or accounting?
Within the investment banking arm of a large bank there are several functions one can perform. if you are good at maths and numerical you might want to go at jobs providing financial engineering kind of exposure, if you are good at people skills you might want to consider marketing of investment banking products so a lot depends on what you want to do within the investment bank.
Any basic business or accounting bachelors qualification is good to get a break in finance industry and will also help you in getting the MBA program you want to go for. But an MBA from a renowed university is much more sougth after than getting your qualification from a mediocre university or institute. Provided you have good GMAT scores and industry experience getting on a good MBA program will not be a problem at all. once you have your MBA degree then several opportunities will open up. Good luck.Answer by annazzz1966
Investment bankers usually have degrees in business, finance and quantitative analysis.
