you may want to start by rooming with someone else and that way you can bild up your credit again.
Yes. I suggest your offer the landlord a three (3) month deposit. Landlords want to know that they will get their money every month ON TIME. Try to get your employer to write a letter showing that you have a steady income and you are not going to get laid off next week.Answer by donfletcheryh
There are some landlords who do not do credit checks and they may be happy to have a tenant who can offer first and last month’s rent.
If the rental office is in the hands of an employee who does credit checks and lives by them, that will be a problem. You may have to ask to rent and have a check book visible in your shirt pocket.
