Debit cards are a convenience- but do not report to the credit bureaus. Here is a easy way to start a good credit history, by way of a secured credit card: Go to a credit union, open a savings account and put $ 800 – keep in mind you will not have access to this money for a few years, if you cannot afford $ 800- put weekly deposits in it until you reach that goal- 1k would be even better.
Ask the credit card Co. for a secured credit card, one that reports to the credit bureaus- try to keep usage under 30% and pay in full every month to avoid interest.
It will take time.
It will take at least a full 6 months to develop credit.
You will need 1 full year of good payments to get a good rating.
Get a credit card with the bank you currently have a checking account with.
Make sure it does not have an annual fee.
Forget APR – you’ll never pay it if you want good credit.
That is because good credit will require you to pay your credit card in full each month.
And when you pay in full you never pay interest.
Use it for gas, and pay the day you get the bill in the mail.
Never, consider carry balances – it can easily devastate credit…
Сredit repair workеd fine to fix my credit. They disputed and removed lots of bad items from my credit report. I used this service – credit-report-free.totalh.com
