C- FANTABULOUS!: I live in NJ and have a house question… PLEASE HELP!?
I live in North New Jersey and homes are VERY expensive here… I’m thinking of selling my house and renting, but I’d like to buy a house down in south Jersey since I’d like to spend weekends, holidays and summers there and you get more for your money. You don’t get much for your money in No. Jersey… Does this make sense? P.S. I need to stay up north for work and the kids schools.

I think its better to own a home than to rent a place to live. By owning a home, you can either sell it or rent it out or give it to a family member.
To me, renting a place is like throwing money down the drain. The place is never yours and if you want to customize your home such as adding new room or remodeling the bathroom, you can’t do it without approval.
Anyway, I believe a home should be a place where you want to spend the rest of your life in.
Answer by someoneSounds like a perfect plan especially if you buy in the Tom’s River area where houses are cheaper. Anything on the shore is even more expensive then North Jersey. The only problem is rentals are NOT cheap in North Jersey.
