Personally you are allowed to deduct any charitable contributions. People don’t get Tax exemptions. If you start a “Church of the Atheists” and filled out the right forms, IT can be tax exempt.,

Eureka, I think you have found a way to make religious politicians admit that atheism is not a religion. Creationists try to say evolution and atheism are religions to crudely attempt to evade the First Amendment that forbids a state religion. I may build a temple to Ma Lo Wong and Hanuman the Chinese and Hindu monkey gods. Please, send donations to me for that!

Answer by Humanist Kittie
Start a “church” or gathering place for your congregation. Secular Humanists did it and they are Atheists.

Answer by shush
As a Christian, I don’t know of any tax exemptions for me personally. I think it’s more of an organizational thing. Do you belong to an organization of atheists?
