Bamana Contori: I have been rejected from Macdonalds for crew memebr possition for 7 times what am I doing wrong?
I really need a part time job and unfortunately I am unlucky with finding one although I am desperate and I have applied to Supermarkets, Clothing stores but I am always unsuccessful. I am currently a student and I can’t afford anything even MacDonald’s rejected me for a crew member position. I am 20 years old and I never had a job before and my mother does not work.

Maybe they did not hire you because you had no experience working. Or that you couldn’t spell McDonald’s correctly.

You might consider going to one of your State’s workforce or employment commissions and get some training about how to look for a job and how to behave on an interview.

Generally these are somewhat helpful for an inexperienced person like yourself and free.

Well, I don’t really know much about jobs, but If they really need help, they will want your help.

At the meantime try ensuring you having the right attitude when attending an interview.

Don’t slouch, don’t cuss, don’t be plain rude or acting like a gangster.

Wear appropriate clothes when meeting your employer for the 1st time as 1st impression matters. Don’t be too casual at least wear a collar shirt and long pants.

Go to your college career center. Ask to talk to someone-I am sure they have counselors there. Tell them the difficulties you are having, and maybe they can help you. If you go to a community college there are postings somewhere in your school with jobs openings. You might not be getting the jobs because you lack experience. I would say talk to someone at your school.

Have you tried the Movie Theater? My first job at 16 was in Concession and they train you. Plus you and your friends get access to free movies if you ask in advance.

hey relax u got lots going on in your mind. just relax stay calm and go for the interview again. when you are giving interview dont keep anything in mind be clear and dont lie that will help a lot be frank and dont be afraid. think interviewer as your friend and it will be all gud.
