Won-a-pa-lei: I have been recieving emails from someone that I think is a scammer, what should I do?
The thought to be scammer name is Jennifer Weah. I know I shouldn’t have answered her emails in the first place, but I didn’t know it was a scam at the time. And she keeps one emailing the same exact thing to me. There are three letters that she sends before doing the cycle over again. The first requests for friendship, the second tells you about herself, and the third asks you to send her money to your account. I already reported this scam, but is there anything else I can do?

Just ignore
Block this person and make sure you mark any emails from them as spam. It’s definitely a phishing scam, so don’t answer or even click on any more emails from them!Answer by Another Kind of Sam
Set up your e-mail to either block or automatically send all her e-mails to your junk mail folder. Do NOT open any of them any more.
NEXT time you get mail from someone you do not know, delete it!Answer by Ricki Campbell
Hi
Hope you’re well.
This is line by line scam. Your first alert is friendship. Online if you don’t know someone’s email address or not able to know their IP address, you should not proceed in attempting to be friends with anyone. It can be a potential ploy to steal from you. Never share personal information with individuals of that ilk.
Now about your question, as you have heard above, try to utilize the Report As Spam option or the Block option. If these mails continue to come in your junk mail folder, remember you have like 12 days before it’s on auto delete.
If that doesn’t work, throw her in your iggy bin pronto. 🙂
Hope that helped.
