Clarissa: I don’t know what i want to be when i grow up?
I’m 14, and i am pretty ambitious. I want to work NOW on what i’m going to do with my life. I love ice hockey, but i haven;t played yet. I am a pretty good skater, though. But i have a couple of inspirations, and most of them are FROM hockey, because i Love it. But i like science, and im really good at it. I hate math, im terrible at it. Im good at english and languages, and im good at memorizing but not actually remembered stuff in history. I LOVE sports, i love the competition, i love knowing im good at it, and i love winning. I love challenges. So help! What can i do to figure it out?
(im a girl)
Yeah, i know im young. But im thinking about all the hockey players who KNEW from like 2 years old. Sidney Crosby started playing hockey at age 2. Thats really young. When he was 14 he dreamed of playing hockey for the rest of his life.

I figure you’ll end up as an adult, the rest can get pretty interesting whatever happens, besides you can always join the french foreign legion if all else fails and you get exiledAnswer by Ashley
You’re only 14, and you dont have to worry about what you want to do until at least your junior year of college. There isn’t too much you can do now to prepare for a career unless you’re definitley thinking about a career in sports, in which case practice makes perfect. I’m going to be a freshman at ucla next year, and I still have no clue what I want to do with my life! You just have to take general eduvation your first two years of college anyway. So, wait until college and take classes you think might interest you, and if they do, that gives you more of an idea of what career you would like to pursue.Answer by person g

You know this is really smart because not enough people start at your age trying to figure out what they will do with the rest of their life…keep this up….watch what adults are doing for a living…remember you will more than likely be doing it the rest of your life….very few people think about it at such an early age…good for you…..here are a few….of course nurse…emergency room nurse…air traffic controller…police officer….teacher….do some research…ask adults about their jobs…and then you can really plan what courses you will need to get you there….good for you….Answer by ~Dying To Live~
You have to find out what your very very passionate about. For example i’m your age and well i have a big passion for animals.Never in my life I’ve hurt one unless they didn’t something wrong. But you have to look deep inside your heart and find what your truly passionate about!Good Luck!Answer by Adrianna
Try new things in life and that’s how you will find out what you’re good at and LOVE to do. Seems like you’re pretty straight up about your goals becoming a professional sports player. Follow your dreams and never give up. But you have to go out there and TRY. And you have to know that you know that you know that it’s something you want to do as a career long term for the rest of your life, unless you find a new dream.Answer by Rose
Do what you like to do? When I graduated from high school I didn’t even know what I wanted to do but now I am going back to school to get my Degree. -sigh-Answer by MtnbikerET
Become an engineer. Best job for men and women. You can become an intern at the age of 16. You can choose from a wide variety of engineering (Anywhere from civil to petrol engineering), your grades don’t need to be good at all (good grades do help a lot though), you don’t have to work long hours, you usually don’t have to bring work home, most jobs are very stable and can last you for years (Which means you don’t have to move much), you get good bonuses (especially if you work for the government), and you will make a lot of money.
