Take the train. You will have to change trains at Central Station but that is not a problem, it just involves going to a different platform. It is far cheaper than a taxi and probably quicker too. Taxis are very expensive these days and will cost you from $ 60 to $ 80 for the trip.

Definitely go by train if you can. I have run a calculation for you from CityRail’s calculator and these are the prices from the International Airport to Parramatta:

Adults Single – $ 16.40
Child/Student/Pensioner Single – $ 10.70

It’s a fair distance from the Airport to Parramatta so it will cost at least $ 60 as others have said.

Just train it to Central then look for the Western Line platform (Trains to Blacktown, Penrith, Emu Plains or Richmond all go via Parramatta).
