She has all kind of recipe books but she always wants to change or add an ingredient to make the recipe “hers” That extra or replaced ingredient ruins the whole recipe.How to tell her the food tastes funny without hurt her feelings?

Ooo…I don’t think this is possible. Maybe you could start barfing after-wards and say “I can’t figure out whats wrong”.

I know I am a good cook and out of 4 years, it has been only one meal my husband did not eat. When he did not, I was offended and til this day I still joke about it to him. Though its funny now, I was going crazy then and my feelings were a bit hurt.

Well im not a great cook either and my husband told me by just simply asking to help cook dinner and that way that extra ingredient I was addind didnt get added. lol

When she makes that meal let her know that it doesn’t taste very good. This is one of those times you just have to rip off the band-aid quickly – just tell her…she’ll get over it eventually.

Don’t tell her if shes having pmt because some dude was on here a couple of days ago did ended up with dinner in his lap and a frying pan wrapped round his head.

You don’t. I, like many men, have suffered in silence for years. Over time her cooking will improve, my wife’s baking is now top-notch – it just took 21 years to bring it together. Regular cooking, dinners and what-not, though…..well…

a couple of weeks ago – I had to choke my way through “Taco Spaghetti”. So, brother, I feel your pain.
