Ok. So back in July, my boyfriend and I got into some trouble fooling around. His parents wouldn’t let us talk for a month and added a week every time we did talk. We broke up a few weeks ago and we still talk. Except his parents won’t let us see each other. How or what can my guy friend tell his parents to convince them to let us see each other again?

There is not a word for word answer that will get them to see things on you and your boyfriends’ side. However, you both need to work on gaining their trust back. This doesn’t mean sucking up to them. This means being genuine and trustworthy. They want to see you as a girl they are happy to see their son with. You two should (as boring and not fun as it sounds) take some time off for a bit, only talk through text, e-mail, facebook, etc. to show his parents that you respect them and what they want. Hopefully they will lighten up pretty soon. 🙂
