Anonstar: How to keep my hair straighter and whats a rollerset?
I’m looking for different ways to wear my naturally thick, but relaxed hair. The weather is making my hair quite frizzy, and I see my new growth already coming back in! How can I get my hair to look more smooth, other than wrapping it? Wrapping my hair never comes out right! And its impossible to fix since I sleep on it all night and its fixed in whatever messed up position it is in.

Also what are roller set hairstyle? Do you just roll your hair at night, after spraying it with oilsheen? Or do you only rollersetafter you wash your hair? Either way does it give you alot of body?

No offense, I need serious answers, and answers from women preferebly, unless you are a man who really knows about hair. And it would also help if you were of color, so that you could relate, and tell from expierence.

There is stuff that you can buy at walmart called straightener you find it in the hair dye section it worked great on my hair. And i am not sure what roller set hairstyle is

truth be told there is a certain way to wrap your hair if you cant seem to get it to flow right just ask your beautician how she does it… when i get my hair done i get a roller set now i go to Menas it a shop owned by Egyptian men they steam dry your hair flat iron it then roller set it you have so much bounce and body its amazing they use no oils so its lighter but to maintain it u do have to use specific rollers.. they come in all sizes depending on how long your hair is but they are expensive with these you just roll your hair and it stays no pins or covers this way you can sleep like a baby drool and all and the next day just take down and make sure to use a feather comb trust me your hair will be off the chain

try frizz cream. you just rubb it in and it gets rid of most of the frizz. also, you can get cream that you put in your hair while its wet and easily dry it smooth. you can even bring something with you in your purse when you go out to put in your hair,once you start to find its geting frizzier and apply it.

You can try rollersetting and flat ironing the roots with an 1″ ceramic flat iron. How I keep my hair straight it that I use a pomade and a satin scarf to lay it flat. I also use clips to keep the hair in place.
