you could if it’s real hair but the fake extensions are plastic so it might not take, wreck the extensions, or look artificialAnswer by marissa

ye ofcorrsee but if theyre not like human hair or watever they probs wont take the colour as good as your natural hair. U defo can dye them tho xxxAnswer by Evil
You can’t dye something a lighter color. It doesn’t work that way.
Dye adds color. You need something (like peroxide) to remove/lighten colors.

I do not recommend doing this at all. If they are synthetic do not apply heat, dye, or lightener. Real hair can be dyed darker (i recommend using a demi permanent) But you cannot lighten them. The reason being this: The human hair goes through many chemical processes before it is made into wefts or bond strands, in order for it to be sanitary and stay preserved or sometimes even to get a specific color. So adding lightener will only damage and break your expensive extensions. Instead have them matched professionally. If you already have them in and decided now you want highlights through out, have them order some lighter pieces to scatter though out and give a highlighted effect throughout your extensions. This of course is my experience with so cap and great lengths.
