Kyle R: How to get property back after scammer has been arrested?
We were lucky enough to have the chance to caught a scammer who has commited grand theft throughout several states. He stole from us an electronic worth $ 800.00. They have arrested him, but now I wonder how can I get my item back. The guy has lied soo much that I am starting to believe he has the item back at his place where he resides. How can I get a warrant to search for it? And if not there, how can I get my money/item back? Thanks!

Society doesn’t care about the victims in any crimes. That is how it is. Victims always cry. That is what they can do.
Very sad. This is why when you vote for government officials, ask them how they deal with criminals and how to compensate the victims.
Don’t vote for these greedy corrupt politicians. Most of them are corrupt and all they want is your vote.
Answer by Lov4nzyx2If they caught him and you think the police took the property as evidence, just contact the arresting police dept. Be prepared to give a full description including serial numbers to claim your property. Then you just sign for it and they’ll release it. There are some cases where they may not be able to release it until after the trial.
