: How to get my sister to understand that everything IS about looks?
My younger sister who is 12. Doesn’t take care of her hair and she doesn’t wear good clothes. Whenever I try and tell her that she needs to fix herself, she just says looks isn’t everything. I know looks probably is not important to her but when you look good you feel good. No one wants a ugly friend, my sister can be actually pretty if she fixes herself up. She just choose not to be pretty and I’m trying to get her to understand she needs to care more about her looks. Will she ever grow out of it?

My sister does the same thing and all she ever does is judge what I do.
