Greenbill: How to download music on a jailbroken ipod touch on a different computer without erasing jb apps and music?
Hello. I have an ipod touch, which I downloaded music and apps on a different computer than I usually have. I also jailbroke it and downloaded lots of jb apps and themes. I want it to sync to my main computer so I could download more new music to it but I’m afraid this will delete all of my new music songs and all of my apps and themes which i jailbroke and downloaded on another comp. What should I do?
Edit: I’m currently using Windows xp,and iphone browser doesn’t work. whenever I open it, it shows a message of it encountered a problem and needs to be closed.

Do you use Vista or windows 7, or something else?
If you do use windows, try getting the iphone browser, i’m sure it has a sync feature. It should work for ipod touch as they run the same software. If it doesnt, sorry, its been some time since i last used it.
BTW the link below links to the site for Iphone browser.
Answer by Robo DiskoSyncing with the other computer will delete all of your music, but i’m pretty sure it won’t delete your jb content. There is an app on cydia that allows you to sync music with as many computers as you like, with drag and drop music import/export without itunes. it’s called pwntunes. it has a free trial (which doesn’t seem to be working for me) but for the full version costs $ 13. If your willing to pay that, then great! Problem solved! But if your not your next best bet is to transfer the music from the other computer to your current computer using a flash drive, add it to itunes, tell it yes to the questions it asks about syncing with this new computer, and stick the old songs back on your device along side with the new ones.
