haley. gymnastics:): How to convince my parents to let me start competitive gymnastics?
I really want to join a competitive gymnastics team but i’m not sure if my parents are going to let me it is only 150 dollars but how do I convince them to let me tryout and if i make it, to stay on the team. ( my mom doesn’t like competitive teams like soccer and hockey but you only have to attend 1-2 competitions and this is something I really want)

if you really want this then i don’t see why you shouldn’t be able to do it!….. show your mom that gymnastics is your passion….. tell this is what i love doing and i would love to be on a competitive team… good luck!
i used to be a competitive gymnast and it’s a great thing that you want to start. tell your parents that it’s a great sport to keep you in shape and healthy. refer to me if you like….it taught me AMAZING life skills and some parts of gymnastics has helped me with volleyball. if you ever decide to quit you can always start tumbling or cheerleading.
email me anytime you need help with a skill or need information about gymnastcs. i’m 13!

competitve gymnastics requires HOURS AND
HOURS of work out. i am thirteen, and practice
20 hours of week. it takes time and commitment.
and you need to start at a fairly young age. and as
you get better, it also gets more expensive.. you
also have to pay for warm ups, equiptment fees,
leotard, grips, and competition fees.
