Jamie Harrison: What Exercises Should I Do For Gymnastics?
I use to do gymnastics at the highest level possible, but i had to leave it behind. Now I am 13 and it’s been a few years now but i have started again. I am getting my flexibility back easier than i thought i would but the strength i use to have isn’t.
Is there any exercises that i could do every day to build up my strength and flexibility so i can start doing walkovers, straddle the handstand(elephant lift) ETC ETC?

EUGH, the best way is through lots of core exercises, running, and remember all of the pullups and leg lifts?!
You weren’t doing it at “the highest level possible” as you need to be 16 to be on an olympic squad. And you’re apparently 13. I also don’t know of many international elite gymnastics under the age of 13 anyway.Answer by Lita R
— Same thing happened to me.
For back strength, do back bends. Again, again, & again.
To help yourself hold your weight. Practice hand stands against a wall & hold it.
Push ups help walkovers. ( ab strength )
Sit ups do also.
STRETCHHH!:)
Hope this helped:)
