Me and my friend are planning to make a trip to Birmingham soon, we are 18 and need a place to stay while we are there, how old do you have to be to rent a hotel/motel room? I need to know soon.

ugh, why don’t you just call a hotel and ask them? it would have taken you less time to do that than it would have to post this question
