Kelly S: How much should a restaurant manager of a large company expect to bonus in a year?
I recently got a job as a manager for a Restaurant. I don’t want to say which one but it’s for a company almost as big as Darden or Brinker. I’m just wondering if there are any restaurant managers who can tell me what they bonus’d last year so I can have a ROUGH idea of what to expect.

“bo·nus /ˈbo-nəs/ Pronunciation Key Pronunciation[boh-nuhs] Pronunciation Key
–noun, plural -nus·es.
Bonus is not now, and hopefully never WILL be a verb.
If you only RECENTLY got the job, you cannot expect your bonus to be particularly large. Most likely it will be nominal, perhaps half of your monthly salary or 5% of your annual salary. This should increase yearly assuming that your restaurant continues to be profitable. After 5 years you can reasonably expect a bonus equivalent to a couple of months salary, or roughly 20% of your annual salary. This will vary depending on the cash flow of your particular restaurant.
